Championship clubs have been asked if they would prefer that the season is abandoned now.
League 1 and 2 have already been shut down.

I don't believe that anything below the Championship will be completed in England, so the Scottish second tier will definitely not finish.

    The whole thing's fvcked.

Step 3 and below non league in England has pretty much gone. All that’s left is to decide wether it’s null and void, PPG or I’ve seen a freeze suggested and restart in September to make it a 2 year season.

it’s about the same standard ;)

A 2 year season would probably make most sense and be fairest.

Not sure Helen. L1and 2 suspended and championship clubs have been asked what they want to do.
Looks all up in the air.
If premier follow Rangers won’t be happy and I’m sure Celtic will push for it so as to deny them the title. Most boards here all talking about it.

The precedent has been set though to allow Celtic to get their 9 in the row.

I think they got their 9th last year. Isn’t it 10 they were after this year?

Morally, Celtic can't complain if Rangers get awarded the title.

They were only 13 (?) points clear last season, and it's fair enough they were awarded the league - nobody was catching them, and nobody's catching Rangers this time.

I'm sure Celtic will complain, though!

That's what I meant They called the leagues to allow Celtic to get 9 last year but will probably be happy to null and void it now they're not looking like getting 10 in a row. However, the precedent was set last season.

As you said earlier Baka the whole game is in a mess through the ravages of covid.
Best just call a halt and hope things get better for next year.

Well that’s true Helen - except that it’s not.

Celtic were awarded the title on 18 May when they had played 30 of their 38 games. Not quite the same as now.

Surely they can't null and void it? It's all been for nothing! Do what they did last season with the points system i can't see any other way.
