If you liked dead mans shoes, watch tyrannosaur and calm with horses. Two stunning but properly disturbing films

Journeyman with Paddy is superb too. But Dead Man's Shoes is a classic. A definite favourite of mine. I do like revenge films. I think Man On Fire trumps it though, Denzel Washington. The connection he has with Dakota Fanning in that film is on point.

Random fact - the super 8 footage of Richard and Anthony as kids in the film was real old super 8 footage of an old mate/boss of mine and his brother. One of their cousins was a producer on the film.

We had a work night out to go and see the film, had to go to Sheffield as nowhere in Donny were showing it.

We were expecting to turn up and see a poor quality low budget film and were pleasantly surprised at its brilliance.

Bit of a cult classic though, didn’t even get close to breaking even at the box office and it cost well under a million to make.

Try Inbred with Paddy in it from Emmerdale in it.
It is beyond weird but in a good way.
