If we lose mowatt after

    They've failed in most of the transfer windows so far so I can see why people would be apprehensive. Wev been extremely lucky that Woodrow and styles have got through so many games unscathed. Striker and left wingback still critical positions that need strengthening.

    Styles saved us last year tracking back especially in one of our final games. Intercepting which lead to our last minute goal.. This year he's been fantastic. Probably our best player. And thats no disrespect to our other amazing players

    What I mean is I don’t think Kane/Styles would be as effective as Mowatt/James if Mowatt goes too.

    Just read some articles concerning Mowatt in the Chronicle and Valerie says it's money which is the stumbling block. All parties want to stay at Barnsley. I think it's time the board pulled their finger out and stopped p1ssing about and offer him what he's asking for.

    Do you guys think that not keeping James is promising sign for keeping Mowatt? Why would we send back James if it meant us losing both?

    That relies on the logic of those running the place being sound, though...

    In the Chronicle Mowatt was calling for more signings and saying that he liked playing alongside James. However, he did mention that Styles was the complete player and had all the attributes to go to the top and should have been playing regularly last season he's that good. Whether James leaving would be to the detriment of this is anyone's guess?

    No Mate you're wrong. He upgraded to a C reg Montego HL we loaned him when he signed for us.
