Looking like Wales is going full batshit mental.

Masks to be worn at all times outside of the home by all citizens unless medically exempt. Instant-on the spot fines of £100 for flouters.

All residents of Wales to be completely confined to their homes.

No exercise period outside – stamping out previous lockdown flouting of regulations.

Residents only allowed to leave home for essentials that are, Food and medical supplies which have to be from the resident’s nearest location. IE nearest shop when it comes to food supplies.

Dog walking and pet toiletry to be restricted to 200 meters from the home.

No home visits under any circumstances apart from Doctors or Nurses in relation to medication or treatments.

Those kind of rules would play in to the hands of nut jobs. The Welsh should never stand for such nonsense. Hope for their sake it's wrong.

And that source I found states ", I expect it to be announced very shortly, before heading into the new year” he finished." - err well we are now in the New Year I cant believe this one - there would be riots if that was tried

By the way the same rag also has the full details of the Covid Xmas party bash affecting the Man City game - probably better not put a link on here in case there is a superinjunction but its not hard to find

While I don't think its true (though nothing would surprise me) it is probably the level of restrictions that would be required to make a major difference to infection levels.
Completely shutting all none essential businesses (even click and collect) stopping the sale of none essential foods. Stop the purchase of all none essential items (even online).
Instead we shut hospitality and some Schools. Considering how many people are still mixing in so many workplaces up and down the country, I don't see it having a massive impact.

Actually that is almost identical to the red zone decrees we have experienced at various times. People accept it as necessary here and it has restricted infections to a certain extent although some have flouted it in teh larger cities resulting in 'hotspots' where infection rates have risen..

On the plus side the local media reported on a woman in the village next to us who celebrated her 106th birthday yesterday. She has only been in the Casa Riposa (care home) for the past year after falling and breaking her leg. She is up and about now (albeit with a walking frame) PLUS she has fully recovered from Covid which she caught in February!!
Pretty good going especially as she, apparently, still has 'all her marbles' :)

Mind you, when you think back to our semi final at Wembley against Cardiff would you want those welsh Neanderthal gibbons out roaming the streets more than five yards from where they dwell.
    Saw too much that day!

Wales and every other country should do a job as good as South Korea for dealing with quarantine and then cases wouldn't be so high. Have a read of these 23 tweets......

Found it straight away (You need some Google lessons :)) but, like you, can't say whether it's a reliable source of news or not. My instincts say not, but I don't know.

Then again, what news sources can we trust? The scientific community is genuinely divided on our response to the Covid-19 crisis. There are as many, if not more, articles and peer reviewed papers from very well respected scientists that challenge almost every action we have taken to combat Covid-19. However, mainstream media completely ignores them and actually represses any article that is at odds with the advice from Sage.

After years of defending the BBC they have now lost all credibility. This will come out in the next couple of years and their news department should be shut down. They are now a voice piece for the government and it's a scandal that people are forced to pay for their propaganda.

I still trust the Guardian and the Independent for news, but can completely understand why some people take exception to their opinion pieces.
