Football is not a nancy boy sport, it's hard, tough, challenging and physical. He made it look anything but. And that goes for both teams tonight.
Is that based on the fact that Tarn players are always innocent angelics and never fib and that the opposition are all duplicitous, perfidious little toe rags?
Yes he was rubbish. Got worse as the match went on. Two of the free kicks he gave to Rotherham late on were absolutely ridiculous.
he was desperate for Rotherham to equalise, missed more Rotherham fouls than he missed leg days at gym
The one he gave where the Rotherham player backed in and fell on his arse was just outstandingly garbage. He was looking right at it.
Some of the decisions were very poor, especially the 50/50 challenges, and the free kick against Palmer was an absolute joke, the Rotherham player was backing into him.
In fairness he almost gifted us a goal. When Adeboyejo goes through one on one it’s a clear push rather than a shoulder barge & he allowed it.
He was dreadful, but he wasn’t biased. Some of the stuff he gave us was equally as daft as the stuff he gave to them. the ones that spring to mind were George Hirsts salmon leap - free kick that ridiculous one against palmer where their player collapsed when backing in and worst of all booking Wood when we had a great break on. dreadful ref, wonderful physique mind
He started off okay but was woefully inept by the end. My favourite one was when Palmer was stood there with his arms in the air and their player sat down in front of him to win the free kick. Beggars belief!
He wasn't too bad. At least in terms of bias. Nothing at all to see here over the 90 mins . Apart from Palmer's incident, as you say.
Palmer with his arms in the air and then the ref signalled he had pulled him down was a personal favourite. Although he was terrible for both sides, I think there was a foul in the build up to our second goal if I’m honest.
I was watching the game and wondering wether he forgot to put his contacts in. Gave free kicks for nothing and didnt give free kicks where they were due. And that goes for both side. He wasnt biased towards us or them, he was just fkin dog muck!
Failed to play advantage twice when giving us a foul in situations where we had clear breakaways. Very poor performance, too fussy.
This. Also his eyesight was suspect. And his parentage. The Palmer free kick at the end was laughable. The lad stands his ground with his arms out. The opponent sits down. After he's blown, the ref explains to a gob-smacked Palmer by miming putting his arms around an invisible player. Comedy gold.
