A Sheffield blowk lost his partner to suicide other week. Only in her 30s. She has a young son and Billy has gone to the house and taken the lad and step dad to a local pitch for a kick about. In these times (and we all know BS has had his own grief) it's the little things that make a big difference. I doff my cap sir,........
Lovely kid Billy, he plays / played for a few local rivals so I get on his case 180 mins a season if we play against him. But he's a genuinely good lad like most footballers, grounded and knows how lucky he is to be a pro footballer. I think since lockdown many folk have seen how normal and generous local pros are. Maybe we need to be less nasty and in Billy's case downright less hateful towards them. I know you all know what I'm getting at.
You've just got to applaud Billy for stuff like this. Many a footballer gets lambasted, but well played
I think its part of what the club are doing. Here's another video, looks like they've spent a bit of money tarting the lane up. Looks like the inside of a hotel walking out into the tunnel.

Well done to all at Sheffield United for their kind acts. Maybe it's time we all had a period of quiet reflection and tried to at least be tolerant of each other if we can't nice .
