The number of times that this happens throughout the divisions is unbelievable. I’m so glad we've stopped doing it. Just asking for trouble
So far this season, the Sheffield clubs have been brilliant (if you don’t like them and want them to struggle they could hardly be doing worse).
Completely agree, now that we have cut this out we look a lot more composed and comfortable in the new system.
If they lose at Brighton they will be bottom of the table at Christmas with a single point. I wonder if that has happened before? You’ve got to laugh. Ho ho ho
Was briefly speaking to a Sheff U fan at work today. I casually brought up how well they’re doing this season and he said “sounds crazy but I think we’ll stay up. Get a few wins together and we’ll close the gap.” It sounds crazy because it is. 1 point from however many games, not sure they’re suddenly going to pop 3 or 4 wins out of nowhere. He also told me that it was 40/1 with the bookies for them to get less points than Derby’s record season (haven’t bothered to fact check this myself). I daren’t put money on it.
Worst ever start to a season in First Division/Premier League history. Well done Sheffield United! That’s some achievement
They can't buy a win can they.? The so called experts don't give them much hope of staying up. There are seventy five points still to play for and theoretically they need at least forty more points to even stand a chance of surviving. I don't think they can up their game sufficiently to get anyway near that points total. Same goes for West Brom. They have seven points from their thirteen games, but given the squad that big Sam has inherited, it's doubtful that even he can avoid the dreaded drop. They are not good enough period.
