Can anyone enlighten me what the post is about and why 'Daisy' provokes such a load of expletives from Mr Badger (who I do not usually associate with this kind of post? What am I missing?
I stand corrected but I believe he's alluding to the TV advert for the Marc Jacobs perfume " Daisy". It's one of my wife's favourites and I usually buy some when we go to Fox Valley and give it to her for her birthday. Because of the lockdown I've been looking online. Had a look on Amazon yesterday. Surprised at the number of comments saying the Daisy being offered is not the genuine article which is not good as a small bottle can cost circa £45.
yes, as alluded to earlier, it is a most irritating advert for some smelly perfume type stuff. Just another of the really stupid, and I mean STUPID, perfume ads that proliferate at this time of year. (Why we are particularly receptive to this sort of thing only at Christmas I don't know. Surely people are just as thick and gullible throughout the entire year) Sorry for the language. I'm quite a mild mannered sort of chappie until wound up by this sort of thing !! I'll make up for it by talking about flower arranging and fluffy kittens from now on !
