Well ahead of where they need to be to be the worst team on points scored in football league history.
The Cheds' next two games are Southampton and Man Utd. That'll put them on course for about three points all season.
Correct, in the three points for a win era, or 8 in any era (Loughborough in 1900 and Donny Rovers in 1905)
Left it late 90 th minute. Sheffield are a bunch of honest toilers. We can look forward to playing them in the Championship next season as the team bottom of the Premiership at Christmas usually gets relegated.
Second season syndrome. Not really watched any premier league footy this season, but people say they've played OK. Fine margins. We've played worse than we did on Friday, but Bournemouth were too clinical & we couldn't hit a barn door with a dobro.
Chris Wilder has signed too many championship players at once hoping they will all become premier league quality. It's finally caught up with them.
They’re like us when Keith Hill was in charge, but a division above. Wasted too much money this year on rubbish.
Aaron Ramsdale only played one season in the prem signed for £17.5million Sander Berge signed from Genk for £20 million Oli Mcburnie never player in the prem signed for £17.5million rising to £20million Rhian Brewster never played in the prem signed for a club record £23.5 million Max Lowe and Jayden Bogle never played in the top flight signed for a combined £15 million Plus Jack Rodwell is somehow picking up a wage from them.
I don't want Val sacked and I'm happy with his start to his BFC career, I think it's obvious he still has a lot to learn about Championship football but you have to be delighted with his start. I am a big fan of Wilder though and think he has performed miracles and does know English football inside out its just clear his squad is just not good enough for the Premier league.
