Brum were shocking and if we had another top striker alongside Woodrow we’d have won 5 or 6-1

Soft penalty for the equaliser but what a turnaround.

Quite fancy a road trip to Cornwall :D

We can't hit a barn door, but we battle like fvck, and have amazing team spirit.

Fair play to the players. We should have beaten Vermingham out of sight, and it'd have been a travesty had we not won.

We need to work on our finishing, though...

Have to agree with all of that, especially the last bit. My reaction to Brittain skying his chance got me in the doghouse

Exactly, should've been out of sight at half time, and later that miss with Callum Brittain - oh dear!

A deserved win though, I'd have been disappointed with just one point, we dominated the game on balance,

Let's not get away from the fact that Woodrow blazed 3 attempts high and wide himself. It was poor finishing from the front 3 in general today.

I didn't realise what profanities I was capable of until the ball fell to Brittain!

Profligacy all over the park. We’re going to score ten one day

    Another?

I like Cauley Woodrow but he isn’t a ‘top’ striker. He’s been in poor from since the end of last season. I had to have a wry smile when Quest suggested he was one of the best number 9’s in the division. On form he’s up there - but he’s woefully short of that currently.

He couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo at the moment unless it’s on the penalty spot.

think he’s been excellent since we started playing him as a forward again with 5 goals in 9 games. Like Mowatt he suffered from the extreme negativity of GS but think he is moving back to his best.
