Sorry about the party breaking lockdown rules...well she is now she's had the party . easy to be sorry after ya get what ya want. luckily she NOW understands the implications.. Paying 10k fine from her back pocket. should be fined 10k per person she invited who came .....
The restaurant that hosted the party should be dealt with as severely as possible too. The whole industry is on it’s knees but 99% are following government rules that are detrimental to their survival. Being one of the classier joints in London though, I’ll not hold my breath.
I,m having a party and your all invited, don,t worry about it i,ll put out an apology the day after and it,ll all be fine, typical do you know who i am attitude...
No excuse really. Her Mother is a GP working on the NHS frontline so Rita knows the rules. Rita is a very popular character, but judging from her contrition, she knows deep down that what she did was both irresponsible and unacceptable and she deserved to be fined. Just watched the documentary on how then BBC reporter Martin Bashir told lies, committed fraud and laid a trail of paranoia to secure the TV interview with Diana Princess of Wales in the nineties. Several contributors said that his unscrupulous actions eventually led to Diana's untimely death in a Paris underpass and the consensus appeared to be that notwithstanding the fact that Bashir who is now the Head of Religious affairs at the BBC and is presently recovering from heart surgery and Covid symptoms, the whole matter must be referred to the Police in order that a full enquiry can take place.
Or she got rumbled and had no choice but to take it on the chin. I personally suspect the only thing she is truly sorry about, is getting caught.
Just been on News at ten, she put out a series of stills that implied that she'd celebrated her birthday alone, so it's possible that she was either rumbled or "someone" dobbed her in.
Methinks the restaurant in question was paid a big wad of dosh upfront to keep schtum. What an insult to.every other restaurant that has abided by the rules. Obviously being entitled and privileged makes it alright.
A quick google search suggests Rita Ora is worth an estimated $30 million. My guess is she did what she wanted knowing a fine of 10k is pocket change to her. But she apologised so everything is ok....
The fact that her mum is a front line NHS worker makes things exponentially worse. She even launched a range of ‘stop the spread’ clothing. There is absolutely no way she didn’t know she was breaking the rules. As for the restaurant. Should be shutdown. 10k is nothing to her, she should be made to experience real loss. Maybe a recording contract or product endorsement. I wonder if her mum knew?
