So to sum up, shops will open back up. Not much else will change. Hospitality will continue to collapse and people will continue mixing in each others homes anyway.

Wise decision. Someone has to stay healthy to repopulate the country. May as well be good Yorkshire stock. :)

Mass testing and not using the PCR method, which has massive flaws, by producing too many false positives. It was never designed to do what has been asked of it.

Makes loads of sense, south elmsall is 35 miles away from Keighley.

I know it’s madness. I live in Wakey too and we’re going to be lumped in with Bradford and Kirklees for the rest of this now. I think a lot of areas will have the same where they’re effectively punished for another city’s rates. Got a mate in Chesterfield and they’re in tier 3 because they’ve been put with Derby, where rates are much higher.

To be fair we had entered tier 3 a few weeks before testing and it was falling quickly

I am more than ready. I was ready in March. It's slowly dawning on people what is going on. If you believe in what the government are telling you, you are the conspiracy theorist. You're wearing a tin foil hat and sat at home. Look at the science for the reality.

Youll also be pleased to know the tier rating has been ratified using old data.

Rather than use real time information which SAGE et have access to they have used last weeks stats.

I accept that people think the side-effects of lockdown isn't worth the benefit, however to say they don't work in stopping virus transmission is ******* batshit insanity and makes you look absolutely mental.

No, I don't. You don't leave the house, you look mental. Stop trying to project. It worked for a while but it won't continue to do so. Your name calling of others is going to be less and and less effective because you're wrong and you've always been wrong. You can't continue to influence people with your lack of understanding and your pseudo science.

To prove lockdowns have worked - most places have a lower tier level now than they did pre-lockdown!

    Oh wait.....

Leicester is a great example of working lockdowns - I dont think it has been out of lockdown since March. IIRC when the rest of us came out of Lockdown Leicester stayed in - its still in Tier 3 even now.

My brother lives in Leicester and says he's given up looking at it just getting on as best they can.
Seems to me the approach is - infections go down, it's working more lockdown!
Infections go up it's not working yet more lockdown!

I think the approach they're taking now is to make it up as they go along, and hope for a vaccine.
