the dry run caused delays because the French had not deployed enough staff needed for a live operation and once properly resourced more lanes would be open to help ease the congestion - from the same article
Fully expected. The French are going to be as awkward as they possibly can regarding Brexit. Mark my words - either: Confronting Royal Navy over fishing. French farmers blocking imports. French customs blocking imports. France - that’s another country that hates the British - especially us English. Very few countries in the world like us. America, Canada, India, Malta, Cyprus do - but that’s more or less thi lot. They need to do a Monty Python and think on .......... what’s the British ever done for us ???
It's thee they hate Nudge, me, I've never met a French person that hates me and I've met lots of them.
answers easy as the french will no doubt do their usual trick and try to block/disrupt/slow traffic leaving for england from their ports put a hefty tariff on uk traffic using french ports ( to offset the time and lost goods) and let uk hauliers use holland/belgium with a massive discount ( use some of the tarrif money) the french will start and play fair when they're hit in the pockets as most business's would
Maybe they hate arrogant Brits that think we’re a gift to the world. If you’re realistic about our standing in the world and unbiased about the atrocities in our history, nobody will hate you for being British.
Who made the decision again for this to happen? Don't moan about it people, it's not the French's fault. Welcome to project reality, enjoy the unicorns!
I can’t get my head around the fact that half the people on here hope our country fail and the EU prosper. Half of you lot on here secretly hope the French block ports, just so you can say I told you so. You would love the Nissan plant in Sunderland to close, just so you can say I told you so. If you love the EU that much why don’t you fix.k off and move there, you won’t be missed. Of course, non of the above will happen, project fear, Scaremongering as usual. If the French were to block goods, strike, close ports, we’ll just buy from elsewhere or move goods from other ports. It’s not rocket science!!!
This is all you've got left in the tank to support this sh*show. Trying to point fingers when reality smacks you in the face. You sound like a certain Mr Davis, said it would be done in a matter of days. Cos it's all the remainers fault, get a grip.
