    Mine is very strange and maybe unpopular but when a young adult like someone my own age calls some twice their age "pal". Done it myself before and never felt right. I always say hey up ",their name" (if I know it).

    Adverts to join the army. Always wind me up.

    “You’ll make mates, play footy, get qualifications, every day’s a laugh. Join the Army, Be The Best”.

    No problems with those who do sign up, but it always annoyed me how the ads gloss over the “get shot at” part and the “might get your leg blown off” part.

    Just a weird irritation.

    When my kitten and her kitten died, after a couple of petless years, my son begged for a dog . One advantage of a dog is their tongues aren't like sandpaper when they lick you.

    My personal preference would always be a German Shepherd. However, I've told my daughter Laura she can get any dog she likes next year.
