    Nice report, but I'll take issue with you thinking that hitting the woodwork is somehow having a goal saved by the crossbar.

    You only score a goal by getting it between the uprights and below the crossbar.

    Hitting the crossbar is a miss. It's a near miss but that's all, you get nothing for it, unless you are lucky enough for it to rebound to your own player who slots home or it bounces down onto the keeper and rolls over the line.

    What I would suggest, is that you read it back through a couple of times before publishing to iron out the obvious typos.

    Had read it back but didn't notice any myself but felt under pressure to get it out in a somewhat quick time. Next time I will certainly take more time to rid any errors
