I’d love nothing more than this to bite me in the back end. But he really offers nothing to this team. Doesn’t ever seem to be showing for the ball, and when he does receive it he gives the ball away. I’d bring him off but we don’t have any other option to do that.
I’ve been willing to cut Schmidt some slack - because he has scored some vital goals BUT the way he is aimlessly wandering about is really annoying me. We’ve had Chaplin Styles and Simoes pressing, and then Schmidt is just jogging. He’s just walked from an offside position into his own half as if he’s forgotten what he’s supposed to do. I’d sooner have Miller on putting some effort in. Just not acceptable.
I try to give all the players a chance and benefit of doubt. Try and see potential in them but Schmidt is honestly a waste of a shirt. He’s pinching a living that lad
Should be nowhere near the starting line up, especially after yet another piss poor performance. Adeboyejo and miller are ahead of him for me. If there isn't a free agent that's better than what we have I'd be very surprised.

Disappointed with Schmidt I have to say. His involvement is very limited, and when in a great attacking position on the right he couldn't find a team mate with an easy pass. Mistake in playing Frieser at right wing back too, it didn't work. I'd definitely bring on Victor, or Miller to replace Schmidt second half. He can't have any complaints if that happens.
Get him on plane back home before lockdown because it’s like playing with ten men shocking performance but he’s certainly not alone .
