Cracking appetite. I don't mind Mcdonalds on a night out. A few pints, go there for three cheeseburgers and then back out for more pints. Metro paper love putting in 1.99 vouchers so when you can have a Big Mac and medium fries so cheaply it's hard to eat healthy :D

I bet you felt more hungover from the food than the drink!

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t do similar on a semi-regular basis a few years back. I was working ridiculous hours and McDonald’s started on Uber eats so I was ordering a stupid amount.

Got pretty obese at one point, but down to a pretty healthy weight now.

Quite a grim thread really... considering we've another thread running relating to some kids going hungry and needing free meals in holidays.

True story now. When I worked on shift we used to have a curry on a Saturday night shift. This one weekend the boss says it's on the company as we'd met some target or other. This one guy orders a meal for 4, separate starter, bombay potatoes, chips and naan bread. We all thought he was taking the **** as he was going to take it home and feed his family the day after. His total came to more than the other 7 of us put together.

He ate the ******* lot, all gone, no messing.

Not half as much as your arteries hated you.
Bloody hell... Even the story takes some swallowing, never mind the meal.

My old housemate used to buy two kebabs on the way home on a Friday/Saturday night. One for the walk home (nearly 1.5 miles) and one for after he got home. Greedy bugger!

My eldest was the Yorkshire pudding eating champion at the Hammer in Ryhill a good few years ago. He was violently sick soon after and has developed type 2 diabetes now, so I'm not too keen on this man v food lark (or woman v mixed grill for that matter.)
I was quite proud of him at the time like.

I think I'd rather eat the box & throw the food.

Can't remember what they were, just that he ate considerably more than the landlord's son who was his main contender.

I love McDonald’s. And kebabs. And sausage rolls. Full English. Curries. Sunday roast. And so on. I love food. I’ve a huge gut on me these days, approaching 40. Still only 11 and half stone though.

Shocking diet I have. It’ll be that that does for me. Can’t help it. I love food.

I don't class Thorne as being in Doncaster, it's a weird place full of weirder people

Yes, they are very good. Do a mean falafel too. Only 10 mins from my flat, although haven't had one since lockdown, as I haven't been to the pub.
