    No thanks, just been stood with a town fan at the young uns footy for a hr, he said the football was dire. He called them a bunch of mouthy ***** on the sideline, like school teachers. They inherited a good squad as well.

    Its nobody English so I've no idea why people keep putting these names forward.

    I think its good that he's doing that. They produced good things at Lincoln and it's not as though Huddersfield were playing scintillating football before they arrived.

    This guy could be a great shout, worked wonders on no budget at Goteburg and brought through kids. Goteburg in recent years have fell on hard times, the Champions League quarter finalist of yester year they are not. He's used to working on a tight budget and working to develop players. Cracking outside bet and for me should be approached and interviewed.
    To those who say level isn't good enough I point you to Graham Potter who's doing wonders for Brighton.

    30% win percentage is good in the Championship though. Add in draws at 25-30% and that's survival sorted. Oh hang on a minute.... I thought we were meant to be progressing as a football club ...:eek:

    I honestly say I didn't even know he'd turned us down last year. I thought we had got our number 1 target in Gerhard Struber, so why would we have looked at other managers?

    There was an older manager that had been managing in Germany and Spain that turned us down too. I believe he was in the stands for a match. Forget who he was though.
