No club turns over the amount of coaches and players like we seem to do. Clearly something wrong in how we operate behind the scenes.

 

Finally someone at the club being totally open and honest about the current situation .....in one interview hes shown Conway and co up for what they are....like many have said ...they are more than happy to be in a relegation scrap....and furthers the claim they would prefer division one football....as for ambition weve always known we lack it....honest but brutal ....assessment

In decades of following football never, ever can I remember the manager of any football team firstly admit that his agent has been speaking to several other clubs over a prolonged period of time. Secondly I can’t recall too many instances when a manger has come out whilst still employed and said his owners lack ambition.

he knew what the state of play was he joined Barnsley. Yes, I don’t particularly like these owners but we all know the state of play. They don’t spend their own money. He knew the budget when he joined. Plus we are in the middle of a pandemic where all EFL clubs are struggling. He’s been able to bring in a few players, obviously not enough, which is fair enough. But given what we know do you honestly think he would stay even if board had signed a striker? His interviews the past couple of days - all about him, his career, his ambition. Who the hell does he think he is?

do you hear solskjaer slating the glazers? Did Mourinho even though he clearly wasn’t happy. Have we hear stendel publicly blast the owners yet even though he had every right too. A post match interview when he was meant to be representing our club.

I have always wished our former managers well but this guy can do one for me. His interview was divisive, lacked class, self indulgent. He wants out - he wants to move to a bigger club - he has been talking to clubs for weeks - long before the close of the transfer window. Now he wants a get out clause and some sympathy. give me the quotes where Hecky and stendel said the owners lacked ambition and they wanted to further their careers and had been talking to several clubs to try and leave as soon as they could. No such quotes exist. Yes there were hints, they were clearly unhappy. Fair enough. But I have never heard any manager come out with the stuff this guy has in his past 2 interviews
