https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-54381848 I wish them a speedy recovery from the disease but not the political fallout.
Just imagine the fall out if he managed to give it to Joe Biden at their debate. The plot line would be thicker than a year in the history of BFC!
I think the only people who should wish him well are the ones who truly believe that if the boot was on the other foot, Trump would give a flying f**k about them. You may assume that I’m not one of them!
I disagree, as set out in the OP. My concern for another human being is not contingent on theirs for me. Besides, if we're going to look down our noses at Trump then shouldn't we hold ourselves to a higher standard than he?
If he goes through what Boris apparently went through then some justice will be seen to be done. 74 and obese.
I agree to an extent however I feel he's a very dangerous man who has ruined the lives of many and indirectly led to the deaths of many too due to his behaviour. For this reason I do not wish him well, I would be more than happy if he was to die of a natural virus as it would take a dangerous man off the planet. I know it's Godwin's law but if Hitler had covid-19 nobody would be wishing him well, they'd realise that for the greater good he is better off dead. The only difference between Hitler and trump as far as I'm concerned is that legislation stops him repeating those actions
What's the betting he only has a "mild form" and will be ok in a week once his ratings have gone back up
Poor old Trump is a member of many at-risk groups. Old. Morbidly Obese. Non-White. Low Income. #PrayForTrump
Yes, of course you’re right. I’m afraid that in my lifetime, and in particular the last decade, I’ve watched the standards drop to a depth I never thought possible. I see political leaders who will actually watch you die, if it furthers their political careers. Politicians that fall into 2 categories, me, me, me at all costs and politicians who are plain stupid, who are prepared to stand in front of a TV camera and talk the ***** they’re told to, and take all the flak and ridicule on behalf of the people who actually deserve it. But you really are right in what you say, I used to have exactly the same view, but now I see that the people you’re wishing well, will take your good wishes, and when they’ve recovered, smash you round the back of the head with them. If you don’t believe me, just wait and see what happens to the NHS. My hopes are two: 1. I hope I’m wrong, But if I’m right. 2. I hope I’m not here to see it.
Just shine bright light up his sphincter. That’ll do it . A few chickens coming home to roost I think.
I've zero doubt that Trump will use this in whatever way he can for political gain. It wouldn't surprise me if it was untrue. We only have to look at the spin Johnson got out of it. Nearly dieing but never showing any symptoms publicly and having the shortest non oxygenated stay in ICU that anyone had at the time. There seems little natural justice these days, so if trump does have it, it would be typical for him to be asymptomatic and go on to use it to fuel myth and division, ultimately costing the lives of more people in the process.
