    1) HOW is Kevin Friend a Premier League referee?

    2) HOW was that a penalty? If that penalty was awarded correctly, and that is the rule, we'd be better off kicking the ball into the hands of the opposition rather than toward the goal. We might have a chance of scoring from a penalty.

    The bizarre thing is he awarded it after he watched the replays. Got no idea how he worked out that was deliberate and not ball to hand because it just wasn’t. I can understand Palace feeling robbed

    That's it exactly. We sometimes have to feel for referees who see it it once. Again referees make mistakes which I accept, as do players and managers (And everybody else) but he say that four or five times. It angers me.

    The outrageous part of the rule, as demonstrated on MOTD (Chelsea I think) is that any kind of handball in defence is a penalty, but handball in offence isn’t a foul unless it’s in the process of scoring. Ludicrous!
