Said the Daily Mail, Express, Torygraph and Prince Andrew's press secretary. Anyways Prince Andrew.........
Personally don't give a toss about Mr Windsor or any other royal. Born into immense wealth and privilege and for some reason the suckers that are the general public are supposed to look up to 'em, admire 'em and fawn over 'em. Load of testicles. Edit: Not that I have any issue with him as a person. If he was 'normal' like me....(mind you, some would say I'm not normal)
My missus used to watch Suits which I'd watch if I was in when it was on I couldn't tell you too much about the programme or who she was in it other than she's very pretty so when I heard about her and Harry I could see the appeal. Like you I don't know either of them personally but have read that she was a bit of a diva on suits which transferred to her behaviour when she came over here with lots of comings and goings amongst the staff allocated to her who couldn't continue to work for her. From what I've read/seen in the news I've formed an opinion of her. It's got absolutely nothing to do with the colour of her skin, the raging lefties on here automatically assume that if you don't take to someone 'of colour' it can't be for any other reason that their colour. It's a bit like not voting for Corbyn; if you didn't then you've been fooled by the right wing media, you can't possibly have taken the time to research the man and what he stands for in order to make an informed decision. BTW I didn't vote for Boris either. As I've stated she would have been the same person if she'd have been purple, people haven't taken to her because of who she is not what colour she is, she'd be the same person irrespective.
Well argued! After folk posted prime examples of double standards from right wing media outlets, I merely reiterated the same points.
This is another genuine example of David Squires' white cat/black cat, in the aftermath of Raheem Sterling being a **** for going out for his breakfast or something.
None, how long have the usual suspects on here known Boris ? Do you not have an opinion of him ? Based on the same media as I see ?
in response to my post, the implication being that this is how/where I've formed my opinion. It's no different from the rabid left guzzling up everything the Guardian tells them about Brexit and/or the right. The bit I objected to was the usual ballacks from the usual suspects that folk don't like her cos she is black. Will Self has a lot to answer for.
Boris, you're counter argument is Boris?! He's on record saying and doing things in both public and private. All of these actions are fact and open to scrutiny. Including his superinjunction. The stories about Megan aren't corroborated, they're nasty opinion pieces which have no substance. Boris...
I make my own opinions from the evidence in front of me. Not from Will Self or from the ghost of Lenin.
That's not answering my comment , that's just being sarky or cynical. Why can't it be something else? I don't particularly like her either I think she comes across as manipulative, but I never consider colour in whether I like somebody, I either do , don't or couldn't care less so why would you think its anything to do with colour? Its not held loads of other beautiful women of different races back who don't have the same problem
Sorry but I disagree ...... why bring skin colour into it No need for it in my opinion pardon the pun but every time something like this is said, I for one believe it's seen as a trump card in a very weak hand by the dealer to try and win an argument....
Lazy racism and xenophobia isn't a defence. Its clear she's treated differently and measured to another standard. At very least you can confirm these publications have an unconscious bias.
Wow you’ve turned it into a political argument. What do you think about the articles Mansfield has posted. And what excuse would you like to offer up. As to the sucking up to Kate and slamming Megan. On extremely similar themes. Genuinely interested. I’m not saying it’s colour. It could be a multitude of things. I actually thought it was a tongue in cheek comment from Trump. As much as I don’t like him. I take each statement he comes out with as it comes. Ps bit of a lefty but don’t let that upset you. Rabid is a bit strong though. It wasn’t a political thread but an article on race/colour.
You clearly think she's the victim of the tabloid press, in the short time she was with the Royal Household many stories emerged of how difficult she was, if you want corroboration it's in the numbers of staff who left. And why has she had such a hard time ? Because she's not white. According to the usuals.
