"I remind the Minister of the Barnsley against Stoke City Football Association cup replay match some years ago, when 2,000 Stoke City fans arrived at the ground very late, escorted by South Yorkshire police. The officers ordered the club to open the gates to the ground and the Stoke City fans were admitted without payment and in a hurry. The same force was involved at Hillsborough. Indeed, the match to which I have referred took place six weeks before the Hillsborough tragedy." i remember that game well even as a kid - stick yer pink panthers up yer arse. We possibly came close to a tragedy there. It was rammed that end and hadnt they run out of change or something so the cops just let them in.
Isn’t it also the sellers responsibility to make the purchasers aware of any covenants on the property. It’s easy here to say it’s the fault of the current owners for not doing due diligence but I thought that the sellers have a legal responsibility to make these issues available during the process. My village and therefore property is under covenant, and as the sellers didn’t make me aware that this was case prior to purchase I could actually take them to court for not releasing this info to us. I didn’t take them to court (couldn’t be arsed) but I could have done.
No I think its up to the purchaser unless something has been deliberately concealed. Hence why the mortgage company insist on mining searches in this area for example.
So the seller is aware there is a covenant but concealed it, therefore have deliberately concealed this information. That’s what I was told when I brought it up with a solicitor in my case. I didn’t follow it up because I bought the house off the bloke who still owns all the land around the village and it wouldn’t have been a worthwhile exercise.
But this wasnt concealed if we on this board found it. There's a possibility that your solicitors were covering their backs too!
As a 16-17 year old I was allowed to take my 12-13 year old brother. We were getting crushed in the end pen before the cops opened the adjacent one. Scary isn't the word !!!!!!!
