IFOLLOW ISSUES EXPERIENCED ON SATURDAY Club News We are aware that supporters encountered issues when attempting to access Barnsley FC’s Sky Bet Championship fixture against Luton Town on iFollow. Continue reading on the official site...
Tell you what we need step by step instructions how to use this code.I was trying to find somewhere in the iFollow app itself to type it in which you should be able to do if it was anything like fit for purpose.
I never got an answer from the ifollow people. Not sure how they keep the business when their service is such a joke. I'd urge the club to use an in house platform after this season. It's quite a simple tech setup really in terms of delivery for a single club.
We put out two separate articles last week. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2020/september/ifollow-faqs/ https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2020/september/ifollow-update-for-all/ I don't know that we could have done much else in this situation.
It really isn't. Otherwise I'd agree. If you break the contract with the EFL, you lose the video platform, the website platform, allsorts. It would be a huge and expensive transition. It's why many clubs come back to the EFL central contract upon relegation, such as Norwich recently, or Hull for example.
I received the instructions in the email with the code: And someone posted them into a thread also last week: http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/threads/passcode.294975/page-2
Never met him obviously but he made more spelling mistakes than hemmsy, used to monitor the BBS and then report back to the higher ups of anyone overly critical and was sacked after making comments about a referee which had the club n an fa or EFL charge
Away games have a tick beside them for plus members if it's played behind closed doors. https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/tickets/reds-membership-2021/2021-info-membership/plus-benefits/
Midweek away league games only for plus members according to this: https://www.barnsleyfc.co.uk/news/2020/august/streaminginfo/
Curious as to why having to create a new website that the club has total control over be so difficult at whenever point where the EFL contract is up for renewal? Especially when you consider the business interests of our ownership. As for a streaming platform there are loads of alternatives. Working in broadcasting and media, I see this and it doesn't mean having to have a huge team in place to manage it. If the current provider are paid for the service and also, I'm guessing take about 30 percent of subscription revenue on top, I'd like to bet that the costs would be similar for a far superior service.
