Comparing transfers

Because at some point we are going to fall into the same trap. We have been lucky on 3 occasions in that we have bounced back pretty quickly from league one and narrowly escaped rello last season, but unless we really start to get what we should for players and reinvest we are going to get found wanting at some point. (In my opinion of course)

 

I have to disagree with you there slightly , you might be lucky to bounce back once or even twice but three times indicates that rebuilding for promotion might have more ingredients than luck .

 

Still got relegated 3 times though too.... would have been our 4th attempt too had it not been for Wigan giving us this chance apparently we learned from last seasons preseason debacle. Over to our board to prove it now.

 

14 yrs in their entire history 2nd tier. None in top.

Barnsley 33yrs in the top 2 tiers in the last 40yrs alone.

1 yr more than Sheffield Utd may I add over the same period.

4yrs less than Leeds.
