To be fair calling her stormzys ex is a little unfair to her. She's a TV and radio presenter in her own right and for the football fans on here she's most recently to be seen presenting the new show with Peter crouch which was on BBC 1.
Just looked at the list and to be fair there are a lot more names I do know than what I don't, especially on the English side. The only ones I hadn't heard of on the English team were chunks and young filly (nice calm finish by the way). Chunkz seems fairly popular with a certain demographic on insta and YouTube and Yung filly has about 390k subscribers on YouTube which is a small amount really. On the world side of never heard of locksmith (though apparently he's a member of the band rudimental), mo Gilligan, Dermott Kennedy or Dave (when I looked him up I realised I did know his song)
I didn’t really watch it, but there seemed to be more English players on the ‘rest of the world’ side than normal. COVID travel restrictions related? Or maybe it’s always been like that and I’ve just never noticed...
I thought that until someone said Roman Kemp was born in LA and Ian Sterling was Scottish. I don't think any were born in England.
Mo Gilligan Kem Cetinay Jason Manford Dave Chelcee Grimes Jeremy Lynch Ore Oduba Locksmith Serge Pizzorno All born in England. Looking back though, it’s always been the case that they use tenuous links to foreign ancestors to fill out the rest of the world. Makes sense really, afaik it’s only aired in the UK, so no point using people that nobody here has heard of.
Bristol Rovers fan who's going to be our new number 8. She's the reason we were saving that squad number.
