This is what the people you voted for have been up to this week just this week

Lies, bribes, incompetence, sexual misconduct, trying to corrupt parliamentary process, miss use of public funds to aid their next general election campaign.

But it's important to note that it's not their fault, it's someone else's. Probably Jeremy Corbyn's.

Today they gave all teachers a payrise many that haven't seen a classroom for months. But zero payrise for carers who have put themselves in danger throughout the pandemic working ridiculous hours.

Don't forget they're getting brexit done and the future is bright (even with a compromised NHS in trade talks and lots of steroid beef and chlorinated chicken). I'll certainly be voting for the corrupt, lying, incompetent Conservatives next time. I think they're wonderful and will level up the entire country. Hurrah!

Luckily for Starmer doing a worse job than Corbyn is still making him look and be rated as better PM material than Johnson.

Strange because he's been garbage so far. Although he did agree to send himself on an unconscious bias training course.

To be fair the most likely reason for them voting against this is to not give the opposition any victories in the commons. They still appear to be standing by their manifesto pledges to not have the NHS on the table, there’s just nothing legally stopping them unfortunately.

Unfortunately for Labour. It's usually when the Cons start to fall out amongst themselves and want a new leader they start voting with other parties.

That can't be true, they promised that wouldn't happen in their election manifesto, didn't they?

I think making Johnson look a pillock every Wednesday might have a bit to with it as well

Nobody, there is no extra funding, literally not a single penny. All pay rises have to come out of existing budgets and we all know how underfunded schools are. They’ve already been having to send American style begging letters to parents for equipment and quite a few have had to close early on Fridays for the last few years and now they are being forced to redirect 3.1% extra into wages. There will be job losses from this as schools simply cannot afford it.T hey already pretty much never replace any support staff who leave anymore as they can’t afford to.

I’m not saying the pay rises shouldn’t happen, teachers had a pay freeze (i.e pay cut) for 7 years in a row and then finally got a below inflation (1%) pay rise so it is needed but it shouldn’t be coming from existing budgets.
