Good stat, maybe there is another club like Barnsley somewhere analysing their spreadsheets and come in with a 5 mill bid. Hopefully they don't look at the 'number of **** ups' column tho.

Interesting that a league table put up by another poster showed him as joint third best player in club

He is a young man in a foreign land and I think he will go on and have a good career. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if a champ club came in for him this summer. Bit of coaching from a wise old head alongside and he could go far.

I think that you work on what he did wrong, not on what he did right. With 2 games to go, he leads the Minority Report Player of the season table. I just nominate my player of the match for the games that I have seen, and Mads has most nominations.

What he does wrong is just as important. He's a defender, when he makes mistakes that a child wouldn't make it's hard to overlook.

Cant see it this summer based on 3 or 4 good games after lockdown. A good player there if he can cut out the mistakes every so often I woildnt like to see that stat on individual errors which lead to goals.

True, but when he makes an interception because he read play well, or he wins the ball in the air because he was in the right place, credit him with those things as well.

He will go to the very top. There’s only Pinnock that I’ve seen better than him over the last five years. And again, so young and so much development in him. I’ll be delighted but amazed if we still have him next season.

Granted, he’s made some costly errors, but the criticism of him from a lot of fans is way over the top, but then, isn’t it always?

It's already been said by Chief. Playing alongside someone else with experience, instead of another 21/22 year old, he'd be coming on leaps and bounds. They'd probably be helping him eradicate those mistakes, learning through experience and all that.

Any young defender will make mistakes. They're crucial to the learning process. He has the physical attributes to be a top class defender and if he continues to develop and learn he could go far...

If he can eliminate the tendency for a catastrophic schoolboy error he will be a fine player I think. That could well come with experience. It won't help us mind you as he will sold at the first opportunity. Then we will replace with another young player who isn't upto the job. It's all rather frustrating.

Isn't that the same with every player? He's bar far the weaker out of halme, diaby and himself. If the others played alongside an experienced player wouldn't they also look good? Despite the experienced player next to him he's still looked awful 90% of the time.

I just don't see how much experience you need to know not to make the laughable errors that he has. I can't remember who we were playing but in one game he walked across the goalmouth shepherding the ball into the goal, in a recent game he decided not to kick the ball and let the attacker go round him down by the east stand. They aren't mistakes due to inexperience but incompetence.

I love Mads and have done since his infectious smile in his first interview and then that Fulham game. Unfortunately, there were a lot of costly errors after that.

If he cuts the errors out then I think he’ll go far.

    Why so angry?

Mads has been our best player (by a country mile) since lockdown

Played much, much better since Sollbauer has had some influence on him. We put an experience player alongside our young players and they improved. WHICH IS WHAT EVERYONE SAID WOULD HAPPEN.

He has some really good attributes which have come to the fore recently. However, the idea that he is anywhere near the player of the season is utterly ridiculous. Take away the goals that were a direct result of a Mads Andersen unforced error and we wouldn't be going down, we wouldn't be in the relegation places. Hopefully next season he is in contention for player of the season. This year he certainly isn't.
