I take it as Struber saying if we are relegated then a conversation will need to take place with the board on his return from a short break, which is an inevitable scenario for any relegated manager.

I'm sure Struber would like to know what kind of support he would get in trying to bounce straight back...

Just read he may have already gone ... same person who said Stendel had gone before it was announced ....

That sounds very much like Stendel's position last summer, and we all know how that worked out in terms of him being given the tools required for the season ahead.

In reality I think we'll all be having a long break from football. Doesn't look like League One and Two will be starting for months, so plenty of time for offers from other clubs to tempt Herr Struber away...

In that case he should go, he's a family to support.

That's why our impending relegation is a catastrophe. I can see the board using the good willed season ticket money to fund the club for a few months. They won't use their own money then pulling out completely because the League hasn't resumed.

If that's the case can we look forward to another session of Adam Murray in charge for the first three months of the season whilst the board trawl the German/Austrian lower leagues for a "suitable" replacement?

I don't understand why Leagues 1 &2 can't start in September. Schools, Colleges and universities are back, most people are returning to work. Why can't football clubs? If it's down to money, then why not have a League 1 of teams who can afford to recommence ? If it means clubs go part-time or amateur, then so be it. Sport has been living beyond its means for a long time, I include Rugby league and union in that,Ice Hockey too. There has to be a readjustment.

I agree survival of the fittest. A lot see the romance of sitting under corrugated roofing in the middle of winter with the wind blowing through the gaps. I don't.

LG 1 and 2 have already played games behind closed doors in the play offs so don't see what the problem is starting the season with behind closed doors matches.

Didn’t the board approach Him as our first choice
coach before Daniel whilst we were in League one ?
I’m sure he was committed to another job and that’s why he didn’t come then .
If the board thought that much about him I think they may push the boat out a bit to keep him imo.
I think he could build something from league one , he demanded Sollbauer as an experienced player something the board didn’t want to do . I’d say give him a chance and let him build his team on his style .
