I think you're correct. He's a goal away from a scoring spree too.

During his cameo during our promotion both him and Jordan Williams tore Accrington a new one down the right hand side. I always remember that match because we were comfortable at 2-0 and Styles came on and injected some venom into the game. I walked out of Oakwell thinking we should have had ten today. Just since he came on.

L1 De Bruyne til January. That might make me sound cynical therefore I fully accept the fact he is on one of these new-fangled long term deals, so .......

To be fair, isn't Potts the only first team regular that this board have sold in January?

Seeing how Styles has played has made me feel less concerned about whether we keep hold of Mowatt. That's not meant to be a dig at Mowatt, but not sure they can both fit in the same team, without one of them being out of position.

All that would mean is that we'd get a little bit more for him when the first offer comes in and we sell 'in case offers aren't there tomorrow'

Way back, when Jacob Butterfield was emerging, I said to a friend, that I though we should build a team around him. We did (kind of) and we did well. I think we should do the same with Styles. I'm assuming Mowatt is going.
Really think Styles could be a game changer in league 1.

I do, seeing as though it's our business model it makes sense to get our promising players on longer contracts, in the hope that it might help the club in the future.

Won't help the club at all. All it will mean is that instead of buying 2 crap players from austria we'll get 3. Just means more profit for chien

Imho opinion mowatt will go, simply because we will want to capitalise on any old offer that comes in. Also im told he and woody are comfortably our highest wage earners...so our board will want him off and away. So step forward stylesy lad...well until we flog him at the first miniscule offer that comes along ££££££££££££££££££!
