the current owners are the fault, as I am sure most will agree. The team that brought us up last season could have consolidated us in the championship , but it was torn apart by the greed of the owners. The new build was just not up to Championship standard, with 1 or 2 exceptions. Those exceptions I have no doubt will be sold off. The team thats is going down , if kept, would have agood chance of being one of the top teams in L1 next seaon IMHO. But we all know it will be dismantled again. Somehow we need rid of this board/consortium or we may slip deeper into obscurity. I know it's still mathematically not over, but thats's a " Rose tinted spectacles" scenario. Saturday will seal it, Forest still need a point to be safely in the play off's , and I feel they will get at least that against us.

We need these ten bob billionaires out of the club pronto. The only way is down whilst this lot are at the helm, you are correct

    Agree with the sentiment.

But Paul Conway doesn't play Cauley Woodrow in defensive midfield.

Alternative viewpoint. Struber has stabilised the team - we have a side that if we keep together and keep the manager has a good chance of coming straight back up, and if the owners have learnt their lessons could well be solid in the championship next time round. Luton and Charlton have hardly done much better than us
Im just gutted that the last 3 games we picked up 2 points but on performance we should have had 6 or 7
I think as long as we have something to play for on Sunday we will beat Forest. Then who knows

You keep mentioning the greed but I don’t see it imo.
Yes we let players go but that’s happened in past.
I think they’ve made big mistakes rather than being greedy and cashed in on players that didn’t want to be here .
You can go on as much as you want whether they should’ve gone but only Moore for me was a mistake .
All these players earning twice what we could and if you think they’d be happy to still give their all after being refused we’ll just look at one of our current forwards for that .

Perhaps I’m being harsh, but if you go into a season having sold one of your two recognised strikers at the death, and replace him with a punt from a foreign league, then perhaps you deserve everything you end up with. To win football matches you need to score goals. We have struggled all season to do so, and when the chance came to do something about it in January we did nothing. The club will deservedly be relegated. Its fans deserve much better.

Got to agree both transfer windows have defined our season left ourselves way too short literally in the striker department.

The trouble with your thought process is that it’s too sensible and rational. This lot knew what was required from their first 6 months in charge of theirs and our last relegation from the championship, they have no excuses in my eyes this season, none whatsoever. They aren’t bothered and are just in this for player profits at minimum outlay is all I can summise, whichever division we are in.

Without dismissing the board making it harder for us, you only have to look at history of teams being promoted and struggling it suggests the jump is getting too big forr anyone without putting significant investment in the playing side.

We didn't when we came up last time the team that won promotion was doing great until the January transfer window when again the saleable assets decided they wanted out and as usual they were sold different owner same result team weakened and it never recovered although we'd enough in the tank that season to mean relegation didn't happen until the following season. While ever we sell the quality and replace with players that need at least two seasons to get up to speed we won't progress to a standard required to achieve championship stability.

I don’t think that the same squad that got us up last year would’ve struggled this season.

We will never know, personally I think we would still have struggled to score goals but conceded less. But im talking historically if you look a lot of teams that come up struggle, we were without a doubt an exception to that though last time.

Youre right we didn't, but history shows that to be an exception with a lot of teams since 2014 that have come up have gone back down. There are some who haven't of course

The owners have to take the blame we have scored 1 in 4 games. I'm not a massive struber fan but if we had some decent strikers brown wouldnt be up top.
