    Well, cricket is back.

England have won the toss and elected to bat.

    Stuart Broad left out.

Be nice to watch it again.

Imagine waiting 3 months for a bat and then shouldering arms 4th ball and losing your off stump.

    FFS.

i might have bowled first, the pitch is pretty dry though so should turn if they get to the 4th innings, rain on and off over the next couple of days down here

To be fair it was a good bit of bowling, previous ball pitched same spot and held its line, he played and missed outside off.

That one pitches practically the same spot, he leaves it, and it swings in a long distance, clipping off stump.

Looks poor to leave it but you have to credit the bowler too.

Same old dog **** England that thought batting first in overcast conditions, with rain in the forecast was the right thing to do. It's going to be a uphill struggle these next few days with West Indies batting in sunshine.

    Unsure about that.

Think the Windies will be worse than us- they're a bowling side.

We are really, lots of starts and nobody making a proper score.

Bound to be a low scoring series. 2 very good bowling lineups they’ll bot fancy facing Wood, Archer and Anderson on here.

The weather forecast the rest of the week will make batting much easier. How poor are the umpires as well to have three of their decisions overuled correctly.

Anderson should have a field day on this wicket.
Stuart Broad has just tweeted, 'perfect English bowling conditions'. Ouch !

Going off for bad light with floodlights on full beam. It's such a bad rule for it to still be allowed. They should be still playing.
