I think you should have all players on these polls, not just starters. Styles changed the game when he came on imo.
Not so much this game as he did against Blackburn. Halme changed the game but we cant really vote for someone who is only on the pitch for 10 mins. I think @Jimmy viz adds first half subs but not second half ones. Personally I would like to see subs coming on up to half way through the second half to be added as they can often have a big influence but Jimmy is setting this all up so its up to him. Half inclinded to vote for Ritzmaier for a laugh as he played fairly well first half but unfortunately disappeared 2nd half - no stand out candidates for me Walton had almost nothing to do apart from pick the ball out of the net once and make one great save Have gone for Mowatt but is a tentative vote rather than a solid one - if only he could take free kick and corners....
Sollbauer. For not knocking Nathan Jones clean out and getting banned mainly! Tidy enough performance too, solid if unspectacular, and as always the organiser and talker. I’d have gone Walton just for the save, I was very impressed at his sharpness getting out to him, great concentration - but he had practically nothing else to do; and I’d maybe have been more likely to have gone that way if he had longer studs on in the pouring rain ... not that he’d have saved it probably but he might have made Berry think twice had he got up quicker, you never know.
We could look to change it next year but late for this years It’s our award so we can do what we like with it.
I think you should have to play the majority of a game to be considered really. Maybe we need a super sub category as well!!
Its a tricky one though isnt it I see your point but lets say someone comes on on 60 minutes and scores a hat trick and sets up a 4th its hard to say cant be man of the match. Anyway its Jimmy's project so he gets to set the rules
Also, think back to his debut, would anyone want to vote for anyone other than Mido on that special day? And yet he would be ineligible... In all seriousness, I think anyone who played in the game should be considered personally. If people think they didn’t make enough of an impact in however long they had, they won’t vote for them. Just my opinion, like.
