Mowatt’s playing holding midfielder. It comes with the territory that he has to run around lot. He’s a far better passer than anyone at the club, he’s also our most creative player, he was up there close to the most assists in the league before he got moved to a defensive role. If you’re expecting him to be scoring & getting assists from a deeper role I think that’s incredibly harsh. On the pace, really? He’s quicker than Ritzmaier, looks as quick as Styles, quicker than Bahre to me. Although it was 2 seasons ago he was the fittest at the club when they did the bleep test. Over long distance I bet there’s only Brown who could beat him. Your criticism seems completely over the top & just not true.

Brown does need to improve his finishing but no one else can do what he does at the club, he can win headers, he’s quick, he presses well, he drifts wide & makes space for Woodrow / Simoes to join the attack. He might not have scored many himself but he’s created loads.

There’s no one on the bench even close to the ability of these two. What you going to do? Put Schmidt & Halme in instead? That’s just ridiculous

I admitted to using a term to test level of how much media had whipped people up regarding BLM - as the thread was partly to do with how much influence BLM was having on peoples opinions.
