Bad appointment in our perspective but a great one for them . Maybe some of their star players have already got moves and won’t risk injury on a full bloodied campaign he likes to wage ? Having said that he has a knack of getting performances even from the up and coming players and maybe even from some of the free contract players available, I’m sure they’ll be some Warnock types among them he’ll call on .
No signings allowed at all for the same reason season long loan players aren't allowed to play for their returning clubs.
If we'd sacked Struber and hired Warnock for the post covid remaining games, I don't think somehow he'd be able to squeeze enough out of our squad that Struber wouldn't be able to, to make the difference. It might be different at Boro though. Sometimes we do seem to underperform, not through lack of effort. Not sure it's through a lack of organisation for the most part either. Perhaps we lack ability and experience. Not given up yet though.
They've got some tricky games coming up but only 2 are against what I would class as our rivals, Hull and Reading. I can see some stalemates there and as has been said if we win ours it's all to play for. Mind you I have a bad feeling about Millwall
Let's hope that for once, it's a bridge too far for Blackwell and Warnock. The law of averages say that their impressive record of keeping sides up will at some point fail. Fingers crossed that's the case in season 2019/20.
