Ah bad news. That'll be them safe now for sure. Why wait 3 months through lockdown to fire Woodgate after 1 game though?
Bugger thats not something I wanted to see - Woodgate was doing a great job. Expect Boro to get enough of a Warnock bounce to stay up this season
Only glimmer there is with games coming thick and fast he’s hasn’t got as much time to work with them
Hopefully not and the players still don't perform, it's going to take 3-4 games for him to sort them out which hopefully will be too late for them
It's not a positive appointment by any stretch. Smart move by Boro in the current climate and how damaging relegation would be to a club that size (thinking finances rather than history before anyone shouts up). However, does Neil Warnock's style work in an environment without fans? I'm sure it will, but there's a chance that without that 'us against them' mentality that the crowd brings, it could fall on deaf ears with a group of players that should be higher up the league but obviously don't have the right attitude.
https://www.mfc.co.uk/news/club-statement They could only manage to give Woodgate one sentence. Warnock's doesn't do EFL relegations so it's bad news.
Boro's next two games are Stoke and Hull. So on the plus side if it does give them a boost, it'll keep Hull down the bottom and potentially drag Stoke into the mix again. I personally think our closest rivals for relegation are Luton, Hull, Charlton and Hudders.
Spot on. Everyone has to play everyone down there. It will be robbing Peter to pay Paul. There won't be any favours so just concentrate on ourselves.
I can't see them going down now. I think Hull are nailed on to go down, so we need to find two other teams. Would be great if Wednesday got a 12 point deduction & it was them.
