Before we start our little mini season on Saturday. Will we do enough to avoid relegation?

I'm gonna start with some positivity and faith with a yes..

Before lockdown I was in the no camp.

However listening to the journos yesterday has rekindled my optimism so I'm on the fence!

Too early to judge imo , I’ll get back to you after I’ve seen how we’ve performed after a couple of games and seen what competition are doing .

I think we'll do pretty well over the next 9 games but ultimately we need 3 of those just to bridge the gap to safety. I think it's a bit too much.

I am predicting 3 points tomorrow though.

I was on about Ben's live from Redfearn's bar. One out of 3 backed us to stay up and they were positive about the lads in training etc and saying we could have the advantage with the away game first.

Down with a whimper. I don't have faith in many of our players to roll their sleeves up and motivate themselves to keep up. I think most would prefer to be still hidden away at home not having to play.

Looking forward ti tomorrows game but I still think its a no, small ish squad we inly neef injuries to a few key players and we’re doomed. Dirty Leeds will know that.

I think the mini season suits our club, young and hungry, loads of energy.

OTOH Loads of midweek games is a complete downer.

If we’d managed to show any sparkle in any evening kick off so far this season I’d say we’re staying up. But we haven’t turned up for one yet, so...

That's down to the age thing again. Players are usually tucked up in bed by 8pm, lights off by half past

It's a YES from me Simon. Mark Warburton on the QPR site spoke tellingly when he said Barnsley would bring a young and hungry squad down to London, with a clean sheet and a clear goal in site. He was saying that his side faced a lot of teams scrapping at the bottom which was a difficult challenge. 5 substitutes will be in our favour, The youth of the squad will be in our favour. The fitness levels of the squad also. I am probably in for disappointment but why would I not believe it possible.?
