    It shows what I've said all along which s that the wrong goal line technology was chosen. I think some money switched hands somewhere in choosing one which requires a direct line of sight to work when the alternative was one using sensors.

    How can football go to the effort sky have to screen this game. All the technology going and it can’t be used to rectify a genuine mistake. Sheffield must be sick.

    It can be used. VAR is in use for the game, officials are paid to make judgements on contentious decisions. Those officials have decided to sit in a big room and not do the job they're paid to do.

    Well the linesman was on the line. Also VAR- why is that not used to review obvious mistakes? Makes sense what you said Supertyke in terms of the wrong type of technology used. goal line technology is generally the only technology that is clear cut and that I like being used

    You see it all the time where the linesman will blatantly see a foul or a handball and just refuse to make a decision. Their either scared to call it or just incompetent. On the other hand you get those that flag for a foul 80 metres away on the opposite touchline!
