    He may have been asked the same question many times, but has he answered it properly once? Rather than answering the question that he he had a prepared answer for. Very rarely do politicians answer the question asked.

    Its such a discreditable profession these days. Used to be that politicians, of all hues, were honourable and decent. Nowadays it seems only scumbags need apply.

    I think the issue lies in that way back when, MP’s tended to be pillars of Society who were respected, Dr’s, businessmen etc.
    Nowadays there seems to be a new breed of Career MPs, where there goal from an early age is to become an MP.

    I wonder if it’s not so much scumbags per say, but more are so career minded their ambition is the priority and are not afraid to cut corners or step on toes to get there.
