I know it's a small percentage still but it's 9 out of 1300, not 3500. My dad is now one of the oldest there, in his 60s. I know there's loads of people forced to be at home and desperately worried about money and wishing they were working but I'd really rather he were furloughed (I suspect most people want a different thing to what they have, such is life). As an older male he's in two of the riskier groups. He doesn't have underlying conditions that we know of, he's not overweight or BAME so I'm trying to be realistic about the risk but knowing 3 people have died there and hearing the stories doesn't fill me with confidence.

Edit: Also, if he was furloughed, my mam could be living at home with him still instead of with a friend as she is extremely clinically vulnerable.

Have you ever worked at asos? It's impossible to be safe in that place yeah social distancing is been carried out and majority of people are sticking by it, but the work place has no ventilation on the floors the isles are thin so if someone has got it it will be down the isles the have been down and the boxes they have touched, it's impossible to stay safe from it its inside no windows no where for the virus to escape if it is the air, yeah 9 people is a very small percentage but that's 9 confirmed cases in 1 week only because people started getting themselves tested due to the first 2 confirmed cases on tuesday

No mate, I know nothing about the place. Didn't intend to suggest it wasn't a problem, just wanted to share what I know about rates elsewhere.

Apologies, I took the 3500 number from further up the thread. Fingers crossed for your dad.
