Golf, my one guilty pleasure. Not played in 7 months nearly, although I hold out hope it will be near the top of stuff you're allowed to fairly soon. As an ex opening bat I've little hope for cricket. Sharing the same spittle lubricated ball is a non starter.
I don't like foreign holidays, it's just stress from start to finish so I certainly don't miss them. I miss walking to Worsbro' res cafe on a Saturday morning for a bacon sarnie. I miss Curry Mahal on a Friday night and that first pint of Kingfisher to start the weekend off. I miss match day, meeting up for a couple of pints before hand, then meeting the wife afterwards for a meal. I miss supermarket isles without arrows.
The thing I'm really missing is going clothes shopping which is odd cos normally I hate it! And just going out when I feel like it, rather than planning my one stint of exercise. And being on my own. Love having my family with me bit i just want to have the house to myself occasionally!!
yes of course. but we have large garden's and live on the edge of the village so we can still get the dogs out in the gardens and a short walk over the common land.
Laughing. Meeting friends, laughing at their stories, and making them laugh. I don't know a better reward in the world than saying something and making someone smile and laugh. Making another person experience positive emotions, making them feel good.
Playing football. Missed football trips to Sweden and Mallorca, but the weekly kick about on Wednesday night is what i miss most. Aside from that, meeting friends and family, and the hairdresser! Other than that managing quite happily.
Golf for me but I’m being told we might be back on for two balls end of May start of June .....and the pub , with mates and my two lads and brother
Missing friends the most I’ve never spent as much time with my son so all good on that front One positive mother in law not at my house everytime I come home from work
Next time you're over, if you find yourself in San Francisco, say Hello. We can grab a beer, if the apocalypse is over. I live downtown, opposite the ballpark.
Lot's of things, number 1 though is family and our 18 mth old granddaughter who is growing up so quickly.
Definitely! I regularly head in to the city to visit some breweries or to watch some of the midweek Premier League games (especially if she's working). I'm also due a ball park game as I still haven't been.
1. Grandkids 2. The build up to going on holiday. Already missed one. Not be long before the second deferral is confirmed. 3. Swimming 4. Cinema / Theatre 5. Driving. Still got 3/4 of the tank left from filling up on 13 March. 6. Costa 7. Couple of pints with my mates before the game.
