Those that are happy living off the state doing nothing, even if forced to work wouldn't do that much. It would be a waste of the farmers time and money. Some people just don't have the aptitude, mental or physical capacity or have other reasons to not work. It is sad, but unfortunately very true.
Dunno Donny and neither do you, point A is an assumption based on what evidence ? The general election result doesn't seem to support your theory. Point B is emotive but you’re right in that tory/lib dem funding of the nhs dropped off a cliff after the last labour government made such a ballax of running the economy. Remember the note left at number 11 ‘ theres no money left ‘? And point C again I find myself agreeing with you, but there’s a difference between people wanting a voice and racking up labour party activists. Just for clarity I think the tories leave a lot to be desired on how they’ve handled this crisis and am fully supportive of all key workers including the NHS who are bearing the brunt.
Mental illness is a massive factor in the numbers of people who cannot work. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/he...-benefit-claimants-have-a-mental-illness.html Also: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/he...es-are-out-of-work-and-claiming-benefits.html
Before the last election a nursing body surveyed over 3,000 healthcare professionals. 82% said they were voting Labour, 6% Tories
Point A and B are simply down to knowing a lot of public sector employees including a fair few NHS workers. so ... maybe I do know? I’m guessing you know quite a few typical Tory voters? Could you see them wanting to dedicate their lives to helping junkies, underprivileged, the mentally ill? Obese, people past their best? All of those drains on society?
Hi, taking as what you have written to be true then it needs treating with contempt and them involved reprimanded/fired. I thought every news organisation had to make it clear whether what they presented were facts, opinions or comments. Might be the USofA I am thinking of.
Appreciate all of what you say there Scoff. There are people who cant work who need our help and support. Then there are the oxygen thieves who simply wont.
Were they all from Barnsley ? Or London, I don’t know how many people the NHS employ but 3000 doesn't seem like a huge sample to me.
Who said that the underprivileged and those suffering from poor mental health and/or past their best were a drain on society ? Yes I know some tory voters but also some labour voters. Your point being ? As for dedicating their lives to help others I’m very proud to say that my daughter is doing a mental health degree and hopes to go into counseling, we’re more of an altruistic bunch than you’ll ever know.
Once more Trixie tries to prove a widespread point with an isolated case. and when your daughter has worked in mental health for 20 years, ask her how likely she is to vote Tory
Although I sometimes enjoy our interactions Donny I can’t see us ever agreeing on much,I’m not sure what your point is and as you’re obviously always right and usually out to score points I think I’ll just leave you to your own little world.
Very kind of you. you could help yourself having to constantly bow out by not posting daft stuff in the first place.
This sort of thing should be illegal. No way that such a thing should be allowed to be part of a work contract. This sort of thing happened with the industrial revolution where people were being exploited in this manner. We've moved on a couple of centuries since though! They should be fined into oblivion for even offering such a contract.
What does the political persuasion of anyone have to do with anything the facts on PPE are the facts.
