I'm flapping here, who is being outraged? It's like apoplectic ping-pong. Is it the police behaviour or the reaction against the police.

Looked like mostly ambulances and ambulance staff from the photos ive just seen. Bet theres a fair few other NHS staff on the photos too given its just outside the entrance to St Thomas’s (the rheumatology/lupus unit i used to go to for about 15 years until it moved to guys is just next to where those photos have been taken)
Theres always police kicking around there too but particularly since the terrorist attacks

I tried google translate - I still couldn’t make any sense of this. :)

If you’ve got a point, would you give us a clue what it is?

My point is and for the avoidance of doubt I despise the majority of the police for many reasons, is mr police commissioner these events whilst well intentioned should be stopped but our wonderful boys in blue are walking amongst the crowds not socially distancing ! So get off of your high horse with your taster and truncheon and see the bigger picture !

I’ve timed my daily run to finish at 8.02pm. Every Thursday night I feel like Rocky’s Balboa as everyone cheers me on for the home stretch!

What started a nice gesture by the police and a show of support has led to members of the public wanting to join in and congregate in one area, in this case a bridge. Now I know it will be well meaning by most of the people Involved but its not the right thing to do.
The police and other services should stop doing this and instead move members of the public along.
As for the police, no they can't realistically apply social distancing and continue to police the public. What they can do is apply it where it is practical to do so. Even if they have been sat in a car with someone all day doesn't mean they should then congregate with other officers, that will only hasten the potential spread of the virus.
Again in all this most of the intentions are good ones. It's like the streets coming out to applaud the NHS but then people going over to neighbour's and having a chat. I've see this lead to groups of people stood closer than 2 metres apart on my very street. It's being done in a carefree way but it is happening.

Aren’t TikTok videos 15 seconds? If they’re not allowed to spend 15 seconds on boosting moral there’s something up. They’re at risk of dying every day, if dancing for a few seconds cheers them (and anyone watching it) up then I’m all for it. Lots of people at work make cups of tea (which they can’t) or have regular toilet breaks (which they can’t in all that equipment) or piss about online (which they can’t), all of which takes far longer than 15 seconds. They’re human, give them a break (probably something else they don’t get either).

You're right. Anything that could potentially lift the spirits of people that are risking their lives every day should be banned immediately and the perpetrators should be fired.

There should be no such thing as fun in life.

These are choreographed dance routines. I’ve even seen one of a gurney full of nursing staff pretending it was a boat and using crutches as oars. All clad in precious PPE.

Hardly a quick break here or there.
