Absolutely damning indictment of this Government's response.

You really must stop believing everything you hear or read from your left-wing orange-man-bad news sources of choice. The ABC story, citing the usual 'anonymous sources' (i.e. it could just as easily be a fabrication) was debunked a few days later by the Pentagon themselves. The Director of the unit that I believe was alleged to have done this gave the following statement:

"As a matter of practice the National Center for Medical Intelligence does not comment publicly on specific intelligence matters. However, in the interest of transparency during this current public health crisis, we can confirm that media reporting about the existence/release of a National Center for Medical Intelligence Coronavirus-related product/assessment in November of 2019 is not correct. No such NCMI product exists,"

Whatever the UK Government has done, however hard ministers and their staff are working to get us out of this pickle, he cannot take the effing credit for it. He is part of the problem not the solution. From being absent at the start, during and then a careless victim, he is a pot knob clown of a PM who should resign, the useless turd. Give me Raab or Gove anyday.

Just trying to say how little I think of the self serving PM.

Unless the Government offers 100% guarantees there is little likelihood of loans being granted in most cases. Given the state of most businesses that qualify (like mine to some extent), how can you possibly make a case to a bank regarding repayment when you have no clue when you'll be allowed to start trading? The furlough scheme as a good idea, but mainly helps the larger businesses. I could use it as a company Director, I'd only get a small proportion of my income, as most is paid in dividend, with just a small weekly basic wage, but the problem is I would not be able to take bookings, or reschedule postponed wedding gigs, so it would basically kill my business, which is somewhat ironic.
