How do you know he knows no more than any of us, based on what?
At least I’ve based my assumption on the fact he runs a football club and will be speaking to the EFL and other club owners so should know much more than us of intentions.

It doesn't mean he will have any more idea on when the government will allow mas gatherings

That's the thing. He may have more idea about what the EFL want but he will have absolutely no idea about what is allowed or when

You know how you said they're at stage one. Does that automatically flow into stage two with the same people? Or is is a second set of test subjects who start again but with different aims?

Nay lad, there can nivver be too many Reds on this site!

google <how vaccines are tested licensed and monitored> and you'll see what a long protracted process it is.

One commentator said that no vaccine had ever been brought from the drawing board to full usage in less than 18 months.
(Thalidomide was very successful in preventing morning sickness in pregnant women but had disastrous consequences - the testing was flawed.)

The problem with the Covid19 vaccine is not in actually developing the vaccine but is in ensuring its safety. Covid 19 seems to target older people - will the vaccine be safe for them - is it safe for pregnant women to take it - what is the effect of vaccinating someone who had Covid 19 in the past etc.

No drug company will take the risk of marketing a drug/vaccine that isn't 100% safe - and getting that 100% safety is going to be very challenging and probably a long term project.

Oh yeah I imagine they could actually knock out a vaccine within weeks. They isolated the virus in the DNA almost instantly. Replicate it weaken it and use it. Simple.

    Until it kills everyone lol

Sorry if I can’t make it any plainer. There are intentions by the EFL they’ve made that quite clear to everyone . He has no more idea than they have. As to when the season will start. The efl intend to finish the season as soon as practical. He just doesn’t think we’ll play another game This year. An opinion on the situation.

football won’t (or shouldn’t) lead that though. And if it tries because it’s scared of losing money then shame on it and those who run it.

Totally agree, it should return for the right reasons not because of money.
