    Slightly before my time, but I've just looked him up on Wikipedia and it says:

    "He was quite a stout gentleman, somewhat in the mold of Franny Lee"

    Is that a fair description?

    No reason not to furlough the players. They will go back to full wages when they start playing again. Most of ours are on 3-4 yr contracts so unlikely to lose out in the long run.
