Easiest scenario would be to play it out human table football style thus adhering to social distancing guidelines. At least our defence would always be in position.

Will clubs be offering a refund for games not attended, if so this will hit them hard .

Probably knock cost of following season, but what if you dont get a season ticket for following season is a issue

So .... when matches do re-commence, we might have a bridge. Well...maybe not.

How does that work then? I want it scrapped for the safety of everyone involved but I’ve thought we’d stop up all season and did until the ceasing of games.

10,000 people stood outside because they thought “il just nip down and see if I can watch, there won’t be anyone else”

I would think that what the authorities want to avoid at all costs is a legal challenge from some of the clubs as a result of what they propose e.g. if present league positions were final and Aston Villa were relegated ?? when they have a game in hand it could lead to a challenge.
Or a Club challenges things because a player(s) contract has expired and the side is weakened if the aim is play matches after the 'normal' season would have ended.
A legal challenge could take months - then a possible appeal.
From a purely practical stand point I think that either the season is voided completely or the present league positions remain but with no promotion or relegation.

So why haven't they already started the season. 40-50 people who cant perform their work from home, going to work. Get the games played and done. I guess thats ok then?

That is like saying that there is no middle ground between Primark being open and the fa cup final
