    RIP the Cat.
Came north to play for United. And was working as a postie on the Isle of Mull at the time.

RIP " The Cat". Saw him play live just the once. A mate got some tickets for Leeds v Chelsea at
Elland Road. From memory, the score was 1-0 and our former manager " Sniffer" Clarke got
    the solitary goal.

Always remember, Bonetti was rooted to his line. Mick Jones passed the ball to Clarkey, who with the
minimum of effort simply rolled the ball towards the Chelsea goal. We were on the terrace behind
the net and despite his best efforts " Sniffers" effort was so accurate, that Bonetti couldn't palm it wide
as the ball barely made it over the line.

Not a good day today for people who made their names in the 60's and 70's. RIP the Cat

A very good goalkeeper and Chelsea legend. Unfairly maligned for us losing to Gerd Muller & the Germans in the Mexico world cup. Played because Gordon Banks was out (sick I think). RIP mate.
