    marooned is just the perfect episode.the timing and Barrie's face when Lister pulls his guitar out of the cupboard is absolute genius

    I didn't like any of these after around series 5. But there are some absolute classic episodes. Was it Rimmerworld where Rimmer terraforms a society out of clones of his own genes and that Westworld homage of wax heroes led by Elvis against the fascists . Bonkers and brilliant. I also loved the Better than Life episode where Rimmer sabotages his own dreams and ends up with tons of kids and an arguing wife stuffed in a crap car

    What an episode! Absolute genius from start to end.

    I’d recommend the books as well if you’re find yourself with some time on your hands....

    The first two books are brilliant, but the later ones the writers did them separately. Although they’re still funny, they work better as a duo writing...

    It didn’t have the same comedy when Rimmer left and Kochansky came in. She wasn’t funny at all.

    Having the nanobots rebuild red dwarf didn’t work for me either
