    Its actually not too bad in general. I'm seeing most of my problems when I use my work VPN which is really struggling at times.

    Synced at 2.1Mbps which is as good as it ever gets here (it was 0.5 Mbps until a couple of years ago and our VoIP telephony had to come out of that) and I'm getting that now but during the day it's dropping out a lot and I'm seeing more like 0.2-0.4Mbps download speeds. Just one of the joys of living in the countryside, over 5 miles from the nearest telephone exchange. Still, we're the lucky ones - our friends a couple of villages over can't even get ADSL.

    Switched from BT infinity where I got around 10mbs.... to Virgin, where I now enjoy around 110mbs. Much better service and tv! Not seen any drop out of service yet either.
